BioLive Solutions is a Technology-Based Company (EBT) that was created by several researchers from the University of Jaén. This company arises from the need to transfer the knowledge and innovations generated in its research and with the clear objective of favoring the modernization, professionalization and greater productivity of the olive grove and olive oil sector.

The company offers advisory services, products and innovations that improve the characteristics and quality of olive oils and the olive grove as a whole, and that by involving all the agents in the sector will aim to contribute positively to the olive oil sector market.

 

This technology-based company (EBT) for the transfer of knowledge in the olive oil sector arises from a Project financed by the Ministry of Economy, Knowledge, Business and University of the Junta de Andalucía and by the European Regional Development Fund ( Feder). The aid granted is financed under the Feder de Andalucía Operational Program 2014-2020 within Specific Objective 1.2.2. «Transfer of knowledge and cooperation between companies and research centers» of Thematic Objective 1. «To promote research, technological development and innovation» and of the financial programming of measure A1122062E0 «Transfer of technology and cooperation between universities and companies, mainly for the benefit of SMEs'. The aid is granted with a charge to the credits available from the Ministry of Economy, Knowledge, Business and the University of the Junta de Andalucía.

 

Among the services that BioLive Solutions offers, are mainly the advice of services related to the recovery of agro-ecosystemic networks of olive groves and implementation of sustainable technological packages, the introduction of improvements and quality control in the olive oil extraction processes , the revaluation of by-products and minimization of waste from the olive industry and with the quality and health of olive oils.
